September 14, 2022. Annual General Meeting. Demonstration and members’ workshop titled “One row arrangement” led by Keiko Nagasawa, teacher, Ohara School of Ikebana.

October 26, 2022. Demonstration and members’ workshop titled “Ikebana from the Garden” led by Claire McCaughey, teacher, Sogetsu School of Ikebana and Master Gardner.

November 12, 2022. Virtual presentation titled “Japanese Ikebana Baskets” by Margo Thoma, Tai Modern Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

November 30, 2022. Demonstration and members’ workshop titled “Festive Christmas Ikebana” led by Masayo Gardner, teacher, Sogetsu School of Ikebana.

December 10, 2022. Presentation of a video demonstration by Iemoto of Ichiyo School of Ikebana, Kasha Nahiro and titled “The freestyle

January 25, 2023. Calligraphy workshop by Keiko Nagasawa, teacher.

February 25, 2023. A video demonstration titled the “Unparalleled Beauty of Saga Goryu” by Bruce Wilson,
teacher, Saga Goryu School.

March 29, 2023. Workshop: Ikebana Arrangement with Fruits and/or Vegetables by Anne Breau, Riji,
Sogetsu School of Ikebana.

April 26, 2023. Workshop: Ikebana Arrangement with the use of unconventional material by Raina Ho,
teacher, Sogetsu School of Ikebana.

June 7, 2023. Annual General Meeting followed by a workshop titled “Celebrating the Beauty of Japanese Microseasons”. The workshop will be led by Claire McCaughey, Teacher, Sogetsu School of Ikebana and Master Gardner.

Ikebana International Ottawa Centennial Chapter ANNUAL EXHIBITION is returning to the Canadian Museum of Nature, 9 – 12 November 2023, after a 3-year hiatus. This unique partnership celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2019.
