September 30 - Welcome Tea/Pot Luck Luncheon - Demonstration of Ikebana by the Ohara School (visitors welcome)
October 28 - Bonsai demonstration by Mr. Barney Shum at the residence of Mrs. Lin Lee, wife of the Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Canada. Refreshment will be provided (members only)
November 25 - Annual Christmas Fair and Bazaar. (non-members - $5.00)
December - Happy Holidays !
January 27 - Workshop by Mary Alice Vermij, Mona Forsley and Jenny Ho on Iris Folding and 2 types of cards. Non-members: $10.00 (supply costs: $8.00)
February 25 - 28 - Annual Exhibition at the Canadian Museum of Nature (Opening Night on invitation, February 24)
March 31 - Workshop by Lynn White from Algonquin College. We will be making a hand-held bouquet with a branch support structure. Non-members: $10.00 (supply costs: $8.00)
April 28 - A lecture with slides on Japanese Paper by Jonathan Brown. Non-Members: $10.00
May 26 - Visit to the Governor General$B!G(Bs Grounds (confirmed). Tour of the GG$B!G(Bs gardens to be confirmed. Location of Lunch will be advised closer to the time. (members only)

October 7-8, 2009 - Cleveland Chapter 20 of Ikebana International is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
October 17-18, 2009 - Toronto Chapter 208 of I.I. Exhibition - Guest Demonstrator: Ingrid Luders, Grand Master of Ohara School. Venue: Floral Hall at the Toronto Botanical Gardens; 777 Lawrence Avenue East at Lasalle, Toronto (Time: 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m. - Cost: $10.00 covers both days)
October 24, 2009 - Sacramento Chapter 26 is holding its 50th anniversary - Demonstration by Sumi Metz, Master Teacher of the Aratame School with a Musical Program on the Biwa by Molly Kimura
